英语，就是一门语言，课本只是一个参考，并不一定就是最好的啊，只要你好好学，完全抛开课本都没有关系，真的，但是高考的时候单选都是课本上的单词，所以课本单词短语这关你一定要过，并不是说单词短语过了就完全不看课本就开始看其它的了，时间长了也会忘得，经常拿出来看看单词，课文一定要读几遍（这个不会浪费你很长时间的），新概念很不错，上面有很多短语和单词都是高中课本上见不到的，而且有的是很地道的英语，你要是学得好就相当于增加了你英语的资本，根据你现在的水平，然后选择与你水平相当的新概念进行学习，肯定会有很大的进步的。至于你说的应付高考，先从高考题型说起吧，单选，这是最基本的英语知识，也大部分是书本上的，一般都还很简单，最多有三个稍微难一点的，所以这一题不用担心。完型填空，这里面有一部分是词汇的区分，不用说你就要词汇量足够了，有一部分是语法（语法这部分我最不擅长，所以就不给你探讨这个了），高考做题的时候完形填空快速的先把自己能拿得准的空搞定，然后结合上下文的意思把剩下的空填完，即使不会，也要快速的填完，千万不要因为一个空浪费太多的时间，阅读理解，这部分分值最大，所以平时一定要锻炼阅读的能力，至少每天要看一篇英语文章吧，还有就是到了高三，习题很多，一定要多做阅读理解，因为这部分是最容易拉分的部分，作文，个人觉得作文比较简单，因为英语作文和语文作文差不多，批改的时候最重要的第一印象就是第一段开头，然后再就是整体文章的框架，也就是每一段的开头和结尾，所以平时没事多背背英语作文的范文，这样在考试的时候，你把大致的框架一写，里面随便塞点自己的东西只要语法别有很大的明显的错误，作文就至少15分往上了，作文其实就是那几个框架，你背的多了，你就会发现，大部分作文开头就是那几句，中间的框架也就是固定的那几个，所以，只要你坚持，肯定会有大的进步的。
